Every two years, Global 4-H Network Summit provides an opportunity for 4-H youth, staff and volunteers—from over 70 countries around the world, representing 7 million youth—to come together to network, share resources and knowledge and celebrate the successes of the global 4-H movement. 4-H Kenya participated in the 2017 Global 4-H Network Summit which took place from July 11-14 in Ottawa, Canada. The theme of the 2017 Global 4-H Summit was “Empowering Youth. Growing Global Citizens.”
The next Global Summit will be held in August 2020 in Arusha, Tanzania with he theme: “4H-Inspire for change”.
This platform enables 4-H Kenya to benchmark against some of the world’s most vibrant programmes as well as strengthening and creating networks with like-minded country programmes. The experiences learnt from the summit will be reflected in our national scale-up.
